ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHERS

Fred Pflughoft, a professional watercolor artist for almost twenty years, turned his sights to photography in 1988. His work has been published by Adventure West, American & World Geographic, Falcon Press and numerous magazines, newspapers, calendar and postcard companies throughout the United States and Canada. He owns and operates his own stock photo business and teaches photography. Fred, his wife and two sons live in Pinedale, Wyoming. Fred attended Washington State College.

David Morris discovered his love for photography while backpacking in the Cascade mountains. He first worked as a professional photographer for Virtue Magazine. He began his commercial photography career in Bend, Oregon where he has lived since 1981 with his wife and daughters. His work has been published in Sierra Club and Audubon calendars, Sunset, Oregon Travel Guide, Down East, Backpacker magazines and by American & World Geographic. He has a B.S. degree in geology from Washington State University and a B.A. degree in photography from Brooks Institute of Photography.
